(neuro) longevity

I joke that I document my life on camera and film so that one day, when we can upload our brains and preserve our memories, I'll have optimal RAM.

There's a captivating scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier where Arnim Zola reveals his uploaded brain algorithm—his body long decomposed, yet his memory and mind remain intact. Very moonshot, and a little outlandish, but it does offer questions about how we can live longer and preserve, at the very least, healthy brain function for more years.

  • Understanding hub genes and key pathways associated with oxidative stress-related neurological disorders, such as bipolar disorder. Identifying these targets could lead to innovative therapeutic approaches aimed at prolonging cognitive function and mental health.

  • Studying how loneliness affects cognitive function and neural health, especially as we age.
